Position: Marketing Content Lead – Viral Content

Location: London Area – Hybrid

We are working with an exciting high growth start-up within the entertainment and games space that are looking for a Content Lead to to manage their owned content team, accelerating visibility and driving views on their content. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly scaling business at a key growth stage and make a meaningful impact, becoming instrumental to the future success of the business.

Your Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership

  • Define and oversee the creative vision across all in-house content formats and product lines, ensuring consistent, high-performing output at scale.
  • Lead experimentation across new content types, including emerging digital formats, AI-assisted content, short-form trends, and other innovative approaches.
  • Establish a structured testing programme: develop hypotheses, run experiments, capture insights, and scale successful concepts.

Operations, Systems & Distribution

  • Build and manage the systems that support content production, including scheduling, publishing rhythms, and distribution processes.
  • Implement a reporting structure where channel leads analyse performance data and share key insights on a regular basis.
  • Make informed decisions on content output based on demand signals, product availability, and revenue projections.

Performance & Collaboration

  • Share top-performing formats and insights with paid media and partnership teams to improve campaign effectiveness and creative direction.
  • Take ownership of overall performance targets across a multi-channel portfolio, driving large-scale audience growth.
  • Develop a framework to connect content performance with commercial outcomes, ensuring measurable impact on revenue.

Team Leadership & Growth

  • Manage junior team members and support future hiring as the function expands.
  • Lead recruitment processes and help shape the team structure over time.
  • Provide regular feedback to senior leadership on performance, resource needs, and growth opportunities.

About You:

  • Confidence in proposing bold ideas and taking full ownership from concept through to results.
  • A proactive, resourceful mindset with strong strategic and executional skills.
  • A deep understanding of viral content and digital audience behaviour.
  • A background in driving millions of views on short form content across YouTube, Snapchat, Meta and TikTok.
