Vice President, General Merchandise
Position: Vice President – General Merchandise / Non-Food
Location: International Relocation Opportunity (Full Sponsorship & Relocation Support Provided)
Package: Salary equivalent to circa CAD 400,00 – 450,000
We’re working on behalf of a major international grocery retailer to appoint a senior commercial leader into a high-profile Vice President – General Merchandise position focused across General Merchandise and Non-Food categories.
This is a significant leadership role within a large-scale retail environment, with responsibility for leading a team of circa 25 across buying and category functions, owning major commercial budgets and driving strategic growth initiatives across a broad non-food portfolio.
We’re particularly interested in speaking with senior retail buying and category professionals currently operating in general merchandise categories, with experience in large-format grocery retail.
The role would suit individuals with experience across areas such as:
- Retail Buying
- Trading
- Category Management
- Commercial Leadership
- General Merchandise / Non-Food Retail
The successful individual will be responsible for leading strategic category direction, delivering commercial performance, managing supplier relationships and driving long-term growth across a sizeable product area.
