A well-established consumer business operating across multiple international markets is looking to hire a new Head of Growth. Over the past few years, they have built a highly engaged customer base and a strong direct-to-consumer presence, supported by continued investment in digital capabilities, customer experience and brand development
With ambitious growth plans and a significant focus on customer acquisition and retention, the business is looking to appoint a commercially minded growth leader to drive performance across a key market. The Role
This is a commercially focused growth leadership role with responsibility for driving customer acquisition, improving marketing efficiency and delivering sustainable DTC growth across the UK market.
Working closely with global centres of excellence, you will own growth strategy, forecasting, budget allocation and performance delivery. You’ll combine analytical rigour with creative thinking to identify new opportunities, optimise existing channels and ensure marketing investment is driving measurable business impact.
As a member of the UK leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping market strategy while building strong partnerships across brand, product, analytics and global growth functions.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Commercial Performance
Own the UK growth strategy and performance agenda, delivering customer acquisition, revenue and profitability targets through effective channel investment, forecasting and budget management. Develop and execute growth plans aligned to broader business objectives, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-impact opportunities
Customer Acquisition & Marketing Effectiveness
Lead the acquisition strategy across the customer funnel, optimising channel performance and identifying new opportunities for scalable growth. Drive a test-and-learn culture, using data, experimentation and measurement frameworks to improve marketing effectiveness and maximise return on investment
Customer Retention & Lifecycle Growth
Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen customer retention, increase lifetime value and improve the end-to-end customer journey. Ensure acquisition and retention strategies work together to drive sustainable long-term growth
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead and develop a high-performing growth team while building strong relationships across commercial, brand, product, analytics and global functions. Act as a key member of the UK leadership team, influencing strategic decisions and driving alignment across stakeholders.
Partnerships, Innovation & New Growth Opportunities
Identify, evaluate and scale new channels, partnerships and growth initiatives that can deliver incremental customer and revenue growth. Establish clear success metrics and investment frameworks to assess future opportunities.
Analytics, Forecasting & Decision-Making
Leverage data, insights and performance reporting to guide investment decisions, improve forecasting accuracy and drive commercial outcomes. Translate complex information into clear strategic recommendations for senior leadership
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded growth leader who combines strong analytical capabilities with a track record of scaling consumer businesses through digital
channels.
You will likely bring:
- Significant experience leading growth, performance marketing or customer acquisition functions within a DTC, eCommerce or subscription-led business
- A proven track record of delivering customer and revenue growth through data-driven marketing strategies
- Experience managing substantial marketing budgets and forecasting commercial outcomes
- Strong understanding of digital acquisition channels, measurement and attribution
- Experience building testing and optimisation programmes that drive measurable business impact
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across matrixed organisations
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance short-term performance with long-term growth opportunities
