Position: National Account Manager
Location: Central London (3 days a week)
Package: £60,000 + Car + Bonus
A well-established business in the functional drinks sector are looking for a National Account Manger to strengthen their entrepreneurial and growth-focused team. This role will be pivotal in achieving the strategic objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute tailored plans for each account to support business growth and meet revenue objectives.
- Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with decision-makers within key retail customers.
- Take ownership of negotiations, including JBPs and trading terms, to drive positive outcomes for both parties.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—such as marketing, NPD, and supply chain—to coordinate and deliver account goals.
- Evaluate commercial data, consumer behavior, and industry trends to uncover opportunities for account expansion.
- Track key performance metrics and implement proactive measures to address any gaps or risks.
- Deliver clear and concise updates to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to guide commercial strategy.
- Offer guidance and knowledge-sharing to junior team members, promoting a supportive and results-driven team environment.
About You:
- 2+ years within FMCG account management
- Proven ability to manage and grow relationships with major grocery retailers.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Collaborative mindset and a high level of personal integrity.
