Position: Head of Marketing (Restaurant brand launching into grocery)

Location: Central London (3–4 days per week)

Salary: £70,000-£80,000 + Benefits

We’re working with a well-known UK hospitality brand that is entering an exciting new phase of growth and brand development.

The business has built a strong reputation through its restaurant estate and is now investing heavily in building a more distinctive national brand across multiple consumer channels, including restaurants and a new premium grocery range.

As part of this journey, they are looking to hire a Head of Marketing to shape the long-term brand strategy and elevate how the brand shows up across every consumer touchpoint.

This is a strategic but hands-on leadership role working closely with the founders and senior leadership team to define the brand platform, lead marketing execution and coordinate agency partners.

The Role

This position sits at the centre of the brand and marketing strategy for the business.

You will be responsible for defining the brand positioning and ensuring it is delivered consistently across a wide range of channels — from restaurant environments and delivery platforms through to digital marketing, PR and retail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and owning the long-term brand strategy and positioning
  • Leading multi-channel marketing across restaurants, delivery platforms, social media, PR, CRM and digital
  • Supporting the launch and marketing of a new premium grocery range
  • Building a scalable content and campaign framework that can be deployed across channels
  • Managing and coordinating external creative, PR and media agencies
  • Leading a small internal marketing team while remaining close to execution
  • Establishing marketing KPIs, measurement frameworks and managing marketing investment

What They’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who combines strong brand thinking with the ability to execute within a growing consumer business.

The ideal person will likely have:

  • Experience leading brand strategy within a consumer-facing business
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing across digital, hospitality or retail environments
  • Exposure to product launches within grocery or retail
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners
  • A commercial and data-driven approach to marketing investment
  • The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a smaller team
  • Excellent working knowledge of new technology, such as AI

Why This Role?

Opportunities like this are relatively rare.

It’s a chance to join a successful consumer brand at the point where it is professionalising its marketing function and building a more distinctive national brand presence.

You’ll work directly with the founders and senior leadership team to shape the brand’s next stage of growth across restaurants, digital channels and retail.
