Position: VP of Sales – Foodservice

Location: California – Remote

Package: $100k-$150k + Benefits

We are working on behalf of an innovative, forward-thinking food and beverage business that manufactures a range of products focused on health and sustainability. They are looking to hire a VP of Sales for Foodservice, primarily focused on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure product distribution across national and regional on-premise chains, including fast-casual and quick-service restaurants.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities within various foodservice sub-channels, such as colleges, corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, and travel sectors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer relations teams to support business plans that enhance goals and profitability.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with headquarters of major chains, negotiating long-term contracts and favorable pricing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Logistics, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure strategic alignment and operational efficiency.


  • Previous experience in foodservice sales, with a strong preference if you have experience in the drinks industry
  • Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG), with experience of managing external sales teams and broker networks
  • Proven ability to lead and achieve profitable growth through effective sales management, customer penetration, and relationship building.
  • Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, capable of creating compelling presentations and negotiating with key business partners.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to business challenges, with a willingness to take on direct responsibilities and push beyond conventional boundaries.
