Position: Technical Manager

Location: Central London – Hybrid

Package: – £60,000 + Bonus

Our client is a high growth, health foods business who are looking for a passionate Technical Manager to join the technical team at their Head Office.

The Technical Manager will report to the Head of Technical and be responsible for overseeing a number of suppliers to ensure quality standards are constantly exceeded. You will identify and lead product quality initiatives and be tasked with driving a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will audit the suppliers to ensure adherence to internal and external policies and have a proactive approach to quality.

The successful Technical Manager will possess the following skills & experiences:

• A degree qualification in Food Science or related discipline
• Experience of working in the food & drinks industry, ideally branded products
• Experience of supply into the major UK retailers especially grocers.
• Must have an understanding of QMS as well as microbiological standards, Allergens and HACCP
• A strong leader, with first class commination skills able to deal with high profile clients in a professional manner
