Position: Technical and Environmental Executive
Location: Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office
Package: Salary £26,000 – £32,000

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability to join a leading organic food business. You’ll ideally come form a scientific background with good accuracy and analytical skills, have an interest in sustainability and is environmentally conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project on reducing product packaging
• Manage Sedex account and co-ordination with supplier Sedex platforms
• Collect and analyse data to complete EPR packaging declarations for UK and EU
• Collect and analyse data for plastic packaging declarations
• Manage the company’s sustainability goals
• Coordinate the company’s ESG plans
• Work with the STM to compile procedures and policies for BRCGS compliance
• Set up new suppliers and products/updates on Netsuite
• Engagement of continuous improvement within Technical team
• Support cross-functional requests

Requirements:

• Food Science / related Degree or equivalent
• Project Management Experience and great organisation skills
• Familiar with sustainability and ESG strategies
