Lime Talent are excited to be partnering with a Global Manufacturing business on a Supply Planner role, in this role you will develop the Supply Chain planning processes, manage the SAP system and oversee planning activities to maintain optimal stock levels, delivery performance, and cost targets.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of materials supply into the business.
  • Analyze forecasts compared to current and previous sales history.
  • Discuss forecast discrepancies with the Sales Team and agree on any necessary amendments.
  • Create purchase orders for re-ordering products from suppliers, considering lead times and forecast requirements to meet inventory and rotation targets.
  • Purchase and expedite SKUs based on sales forecasts and budgeted inventory parameters.
  • Handle all supplier communications.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, process relevant paperwork, and update SAP and staff on any shipment changes.
  • Analyze inventory and control stock levels to maximize sales while meeting business objectives.
  • Investigate and implement cost-saving activities throughout the supply chain.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance purchasing procedures and increase efficiency.


  • SAP experience, especially with MRP, purchase requisition management, and planning.
  • Strong administrative skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to interpret statistics and present them in report format.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and managing projects independently.
  • Methodical approach to planning and execution, with keen attention to detail.
  • Tenacious and determined to succeed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
