Position: 3rd Party Supply Planner

Location: Hybrid (3 days office based/ 2 from home)

Package: £40,000 – £44,000 + benefit package

Our client who work within the food industry are adding a 3rd party supply planner to the team. In this role you will play an important part within supply chain operations and look at managing 3rd party partners, lead on certain projects, data analysis & forecasting as well as resolving any issues within the supply chain. This opportunity will require you to be in the office three times per week which is based in East London.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

  • Oversee and foster strong relationships with our 3rd party partners.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve mutual success.

Project Leadership:

  • Lead and drive projects for onboarding new 3rd parties and SKU set-up.
  • Establish comprehensive timing plans, ensuring project delivery within agreed deadlines.

Agreement Confirmation:

  • Confirm agreements with 3rd parties aligning with project objectives, budget, and timeline.
  • Uphold adherence to company standards and policies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Communicate regularly with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders to monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide feedback.
  • Align 3rd party strategy with business goals and objectives through effective collaboration.

Support Functions:

  • Assist in demand planning and forecasting activities.
  • Provide support to the head through data analysis, report creation, and project work.

Risk Mitigation:

  • Identify and mitigate risks and challenges associated with working with 3rd parties.
  • Proactively address potential obstacles to ensure smooth operations.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or related roles.
  • Demonstrated success in project leadership and 3rd party relationship management.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on deadlines and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
