Supply Chain Analyst
Position – Supply Chain Analyst
Location – Central London (3 days per week in office)
Salary – £35-45k
This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain professional to join a founder led and innovative food business. You’ll join their growing team in Central London and will be responsible managing their end to end supply chain operation. This is a small team so you will get exposure to every aspect of supply chain in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to coordinate demand forecasting and production planning between retailers and manufacturing partners.
- Manage daily stock levels and place orders with manufacturing partners.
- Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve distribution and availability challenges.
- Oversee the management of raw material and finished product inventories.
- Handle day-to-day coordination with manufacturers and third-party logistics providers to ensure a continuous supply of products to all customers.
- Foster a mindset of continuous improvement to maintain high customer service standards with manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.
- Support decision-making processes that optimize service levels and financial returns in response to capacity or operational challenges.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance manufacturing performance and efficiency.
- Provide valuable analysis and reporting to support internal departments.
- Actively engage in and support the gate process for new product launches.
- Lead the execution of product innovation and development projects to ensure successful, high-quality launches.
- Work with internal teams to create and manage sustainable supply chain solutions for new channels and products.
- Oversee all pre-launch supply chain testing, including relevant EDI developments.
- Assist the Head of Supply Chain in managing and reducing waste within the supply chain.
Experience required:
- Experience of supply chain in a retail, FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with chilled, short shelf-life products is highly preferred.
- Comfortable in a small company setting—hands-on, flexible, collaborative, and capable of working independently.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
