Position: Senior Software Developer – Manufacturing

Location: Schleswig-Holstein, Germany

Lime Talent are partnering with a leading Industrial Manufacturing business in Schleswig-Holstein on an exciting new role. Due to business growth and new projects, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in C# and .NET programming, with a deep understanding of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) landscape and Manufacturing Business Logic. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement solutions that integrate with MES and other manufacturing systems.
  • Ensure software quality and performance through comprehensive testing and debugging.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
  • Document software designs, code, and other development processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET.
  • Proven experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and manufacturing business logic.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with databases such as SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of IoT and its application in manufacturing.
