Position: Senior National Account Manager

Location: London (2 days per week), Remote (3 days per week)

Salary: £60K/yr – £65K/yr

Role Overview: As a Senior National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the brand by managing key relationships with top grocery retail accounts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to maximise sales, strengthen partnerships, and achieve revenue targets. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, where your ideas and initiatives will directly contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top 4 grocery retail accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure alignment on account strategies and objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional plans, and terms of trade agreements to optimize profitability and drive mutual value for both the company and the accounts.
  • Monitor and track account performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s values and vision in all interactions with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An established SNAM or NAM with prior experience of managing UK grocery retailers .
  • Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape, with knowledge of key players, market dynamics, and trends.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at senior levels.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and execute effective account plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving growth and making a positive impact.
