Job Description:

The Sales Operations Executive will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, optimising processes, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving operational excellence.


  • Sales Support: Provide comprehensive support to the sales team by assisting with order processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights to the sales team and management.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the company’s CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on customers, leads, and sales activities. Train sales team members on CRM usage and provide ongoing support.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting processes. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to develop accurate forecasts and plans for achieving sales targets.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress towards goals. Identify deviations from targets and work with the sales team to develop corrective actions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Address customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of wines and spirits gained through relevant work experience or relevant qualifications such as WSET
  • Relevant work experience e.g. within sales operations, customer service, administration or retail
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
