Location: London Area (Hybrid)

Package: £33,000/yr – £35,000/yr

A leading wholesaler of premium wines and spirits, catering to the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) industry and retail sector is seeking a Sales Executive. This is a head office based role, not field based.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of HoReCa and retail customers, driving sales through outbound and inbound activities, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective HoReCa and retail customers.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to promote relevant products, special offers, and promotions.
  • Handle inbound inquiries and provide timely and accurate information to customers.
  • Proactively address customer queries, concerns, and complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams such as supply chain and customer services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the wine and spirits industry or related retail/hospitality sectors.
  • Excellent knowledge of wines and spirits, including varietals, regions, and production processes wold be highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering a superior customer experience.
