Position: Quality Control Supervisor

Lime Talent is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a QC Supervisor at a renowned Flavours & Innovations business. As a QC Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards in lab operations and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all QC lab activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Implement and manage procedures for sampling, storage, testing, approval/rejection, and disposal.
• Review and approve batch records and certificates of analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis and manage non-compliance reports.
• Reject non-conforming raw materials and products.
• Assist in investigating customer complaints.
• Approve specifications, sampling instructions, and test methods.
• Manage the identification, installation, maintenance, and calibration of critical equipment.
• Evaluate and approve new equipment needs and qualification protocols.
• Maintain and improve site quality standards (ISO 9001, ICH Q7, FEMAS, Kosher, BRC).
• Implement the quality management system to meet quality objectives.
• Complete deviation investigations and implement CAPAs.
• Supervise and train QC lab staff.
• Ensure effective use of resources and staff familiarity with equipment/software.
• Manage team performance, including appraisals and setting objectives.
• Act as Deputy for the QA Manager.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, ICH Q7, FEMAS, Kosher, BRC).
