Position: Organic Food Buyer

Location: London Based (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £55k + Bonus

This is a great opportunity for a real foodie to join a mission led food business as a Buyer based in London. You will be responsible for sourcing high quality, organic food products whilst negotiating the best commercial terms.

This is an exciting business where all employees are passionate about ethical and sustainable food products. We are looking for ambitious candidates who are driven, customer focused and have strong relationship building skills. You must be able to demonstrate effective relationship building skills with suppliers and a collaborative approach to working.

Buyer Responsibilities:

• Source a range of organic and customer focused food products
• Manage sales, margin and availability for your product category
• Work cross functionally with other internal departments
• Negotiate with suppliers whilst building long term relationships

To be a successful Buyer you must have:

• Experience working in a food buying role from a Retail or Foodservice environment
• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
• Highly analytical with good presentation skills
• A passionate foodie keen to explore the latest food trends
