Location: London (4 Days in the office)

We’re working with an exciting Home Accessories business that are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team.

We’re looking for someone who is meticulously organised and has a genuine interest in detail. We need a great communicator who gets a buzz out of multitasking, processes and problem-solving. You’ll enjoy this role if you’re someone that has a can-do-attitude, likes working in a small, collaborative team and has a preference to be a part of something small but mighty.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting and managing product data in internal and customer systems
  • Processing new customer and supplier orders and managing updates
  • Reviewing weekly order reports and making necessary data changes
  • Reconciling order data using Excel functions like index matches and VLOOKUPs to ensure accuracy
  • Ensuring timely shipment of press and marketing samples by coordinating with the team in the Far East
  • Managing communication between customers and the overseas team, ensuring information is shared and acted upon promptly
  • Serving as the main point of contact for customers’ merchandising teams, handling queries and processing order amendments
  • Problem-solving and managing any issues to ensure orders are shipped on time
  • Responding to ad hoc customer requests for additional information
  • Overseeing customer packaging and labelling requirements, ensuring accurate execution by the overseas team
  • Creating artwork in Illustrator and managing label data in internal and customer systems
  • Ensuring compliance with customer testing requirements and quality standards
  • Reviewing gold seal samples and quality inspections, addressing and resolving any quality issues

To excel in this role you’ll need the following:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and information
  • Confidence in using Excel for data processing and management
  • High attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with the UK retail market or supplier environments is advantageous
