National Accounts Manager (Snacking)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a National Accounts Manager at a leading and award winning snacking brand located in London. The role will include managing the International and Key UK accounts and leads which include various department stores, fine food retailers and international distributors. The company already operate in over 30 countries and in 2021 are launching some exciting NPD to increase their global presence.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing relationships with key UK retailers as well as international retailers and distributors
  • Full P&L and JBP responsibility for your portfolio of customers
  • New business development with both UK and international customers
  • Working closely with our trade marketing team to ensure trade marketing initiatives are well executed in-store
  • Building strong relationships with your customers to achieve a rewarding and successful partnership in each case
  • building relationships across multiple functions both internally and externally
  • responsible for launching NPD in key accounts

 

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious account manager who has previous experience of managing UK retailer accounts. Although this role does have some international responsibility, previous experience of managing international accounts in not essential. To be successful in this role, you will:

 

  • Have experience of managing key UK national retailers within the food and drink industry
  • excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Prior experience of managing JBPs and significant P&Ls
  • A key eye for detail and the ability to analyse data
  • An ability to work as part of a close-knit team
