Position: National Account Manager (World Foods)
Location: Hybrid / West London Office 2-3 days per week
Package: £65,000 – £75,000
We have been retained by a global food business within the ‘World Foods’ category to help them in their search for a Grocery National Account Manager. The role is based from their head office in West London 2-3 days per week. We are seeking a National Account Manager who has experience of managing and growing Top 4 UK grocery customers. Experience of world foods or frozen products is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow key accounts with the top-tier retailers in the UK
- Work with retailers to develop category growth strategies and maximize shelf presence.
- Track and report on account financials, including sales forecasts, trade spend, and profit margins.
- Drive sales growth by negotiating trading agreements, promo plans, and pricing strategies.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance to identify and address any issues or challenges impacting account performance.
- Collaborate with the NPD team to identify and launch new products that meet retailer and consumers’ needs.
- Present new product concepts to retailers, securing listings.
Qualifications:
- Experience of account management – focusing on managing top-tier UK retailers (Tesco, JS, Waitrose, Morrisons)
- Preferred : Experience working in the frozen food or world food category
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Package:
- Competitive basic salary: £65,000 – £75,000
- 10% annual bonus
