The company is currently expanding its presence and achieving significant success within the industry, making this position an exciting prospect for professionals seeking to contribute to ambitious growth plans. They are seeking someone with a background in business development, to take their next step into a National Account Manage position.

The National Account Manager will play a crucial role in the sales team, focusing on managing and developing relationships with national wholesale and on-trade accounts. This position requires a strong background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, as well as a passion for progress and professional growth. The National Account Manager will have a combination of new business development responsibilities and account management duties, working closely with the Senior National Account Manager to drive sales and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with national wholesale and on-trade accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue new accounts within the wholesale and on-trade sectors.
• Collaborate with the Senior National Account Manager to create and execute sales strategies that align with company objectives.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any issues or concerns.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to drive strategic decision-making and stay ahead of industry developments.
• Manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, negotiation, contract management, and ongoing account maintenance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions and business dealings.

To apply for this role you will display the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Commercial experience within the FMCG industry, preferably with a focus on wholesale and on-trade accounts.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong understanding of the wholesale and on-trade sectors, including market dynamics and customer needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels of the organization.
• Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
• Experience in managing national accounts and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of the beverage industry, including trends, product categories, and distribution channels.
• Proficiency in using sales CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
