A leader in the health and wellness space is looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager to drive new growth for the Finished Goods arm of the business.
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with key accounts, focusing on health, wellness, beauty, and leisure sectors. You will be responsible for driving the sales of our “finished goods” products, creating long-term value for the company. This role requires a hands-on approach to both inbound lead follow-up and actively seeking out new accounts for business growth.
- Account Development: Identify, target, and develop new key accounts within the health, wellness, beauty, and leisure channels to achieve sales goals and increase market share.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in potential and existing accounts.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with current product offerings and educate key accounts on the benefits and features of our “finished goods.”
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability for each account. Create account-specific business plans and initiatives.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competition, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
- Lead Follow-up: Proactively follow up on inbound leads and inquiries to ensure a high conversion rate from prospects to customers.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to key accounts, highlighting the value proposition of our products.
- Negotiation: Negotiate agreements, pricing, and terms with key accounts while maintaining a win-win relationship.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular reports on account activity, sales progress, and forecasting to the Director of Sales.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent post-sales support, addressing key account inquiries and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven track record in key account management, B2B sales, and customer relationship development.
- Experience in the health, wellness, beauty, or leisure industries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of “finished goods” sales within the hemp or related industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
