A premium food retailer is looking for a HR manager to join their business. As a HR manager, you will be the driving force behind the development and implementation of HR initiatives.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

The ideal candidate will support the business by establishing systems and procedures for business growth and providing generalist people support.

Responsibilities:

•Strategic HR Development:

• Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Establish systems and procedures to facilitate the anticipated growth of the business.
• Coordinate and lead annual performance appraisals.

•Employee Relations and Performance Management:

• Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
• Take complete control of the performance management cycle.

•Recruitment and Talent Management:

• Lead recruitment efforts for all departments within the business.
• Support strategic projects and change management initiatives.
• Manage talent development and succession planning.

•Training and Development:

• Develop and maintain the company’s comprehensive training plan.
• Deliver induction training and on-the-job training where necessary.
• Design and execute a scheme to embed cross-department knowledge.

•Strategic Projects and Reporting:

• Support the design, development, and delivery of strategic projects.
• Provide data reports to the senior management team.
• Manage monthly salary and bonus payment information for the payroll team.

Previous Experience:

• Previous HR experience within Retail or FMCG
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organisational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
