Position: Head of Sales
Location: Greater London / Office Based 3 days a week
Package: £85,000-£95,000 + Benefits
We’re working on behalf of an SME that manufactures a range of premium food products looking to hire a Head of Sales. This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing sales team, drive business growth, and expand both UK and international markets. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales leadership to step into a key role with room for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the UK and globally.
- Lead and manage the sales team, setting KPIs and ensuring performance targets are met.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align strategies.
- Monitor sales performance, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
- Manage and optimize sales budgets for maximum impact and ROI.
- Ensure smooth management of client relationships and day-to-day operations.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of 4 direct and 3 indirect reports.
- Set and monitor KPIs, driving team success and new business growth.
- Foster a proactive and results-driven sales culture, leading by example.
To be considered you’ll need to display the following:
- Proven experience as Head of Sales or similar role in the UK food/drink FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership and client relationship management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UK grocery retailers and market trends.
- Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Potential to step into a Sales Director role
