Head of Sales
Position: Head of Sales (On-Trade)
Package: £60,000 – £70,000
Location: London (Hybrid)
We are working with an exciting, Craft Brewery who are looking for a Head of Sales to support the ambitious growth plans of the on-trade channel.
Supporting the growth of on-trade, you’ll be the strategic point of contact for this channel. Managing and developing the on-trade customers, this role will involve a combination of delivering new business and managing accounts, ensuring brilliant execution of activation programmes. The role requires a commercial, energetic, and tenacious individual that comes complete with a desirable contact list.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver margin-enhancing growth in your P&L
- Manage and develop the strategy for the on-trade channel
- Develop best-in-class relationships within the on trade channel
- Ensure that the key brand campaigns are implemented across your customer base and deliver against the brand objectives
- Operating as a key leader in the wider Sales team, sharing and helping to embed a culture of coaching and development that improves our commercial capability standards.
- Coach and develop your team in key selling capabilities and account management.
- Identify new customer opportunities and competitor threats
This role will suit someone who:
- Has commercial experience within the FMCG industry within wholesale and on-trade accounts.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the on-trade sector, including market dynamics and customer needs
- Knowledge of the beverage industry, including trends, product categories, and distribution channels.
- Proficiency in using sales CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Has a passion for beer!
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
