A leading player in the food service industry is actively seeking an accomplished Framework Account Manager for their pubic sector channel.

In this role, you will be targeting new accounts within Education, Healthcare, and Prisons

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring profitable commercial business while executing a robust strategic plan targeting high-potential public sector accounts.
  • Ensuring the acquisition of new commercial business through active prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Identifying bids, tenders, and other profitable opportunities.
  • Managing invitations to tender for existing and prospective customers in the Public Sector.
  • Ownership and management of the end-to-end bid process.
  • Cultivating and nurturing customer relationships in alignment with growth targets and strong connections within the Public Sector.
  • Establishing our client as a prominent name in Public Sector catering.
  • Deploying effective contract-winning techniques, including articulating unique selling points, understanding the company’s operating and profit margins, and meeting clients’ specific requirements.
  • Actively pursuing and converting Mini Group leads.
  • Achieving sales and margin targets in accordance with the National Account New Business budget.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proven experience in new business development within relevant public sector customers.
  • Expertise in end-to-end Bidding processes.
  • Previous experience in Food Service.
  • Essential experience within the catering/food service industry.
  • Proficiency in Frameworks and cultivating relationships and contracts within the Public Sector.
  • A portfolio highlighting your successful bid wins.
  • Prior engagement with Government Frameworks.
  • Good understanding of the public sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect tender documents.
  • Knowledge of commercial insights and key profit drivers.
  • Ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Field-based position with flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
