Food Technical Coordinator
Location: Surrey
Hybrid: 3 days/week in the office
Salary up to £30,000
This is a great opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join a leading Organic and sustainable food business. You will work in the technical and quality team ensuring our clients’ products meet the highest technical and quality standards.
Technical Coordinator responsibilities:
· Handling customer queries over telephone and email
· Logging and update of complaints database
· Complaint investigation and close out
· Complaint trend analysis
· Coordinating insurance and supplier credit claims
· Coordinating product recalls and withdrawals
· Completing supplier questionnaires and customer forms
· Ensuring supplier certifications are up to date
· Engagement of continuous improvement within quality team
· Support cross-functional requests
Requirements:
· 3+ years’ experience in Customer Services or Technical within food/drink FMCG
· Food Science / related Degree or equivalent
· Knowledge of food manufacturing and QA/QC systems would be beneficial
· Familiar with BRC and IFS standards
