An exciting opportunity for a Category Manager to develop & grow new categories for the consumer arm of a globally renowned brand.
Working within the Top 4 grocery channels, this role will contribute to the brand’s forward-thinking approach by branching out into new categories.
Key responsibilities:
- You will establish and develop key retailer relationships.
- You will use data and insights to develop category plans for your portfolio.
- You’ll monitor & understand market trends, feeding them back to the broader team.
- You will perform as an expert in your market and category.
- You will maintain detailed & ongoing analysis of ROI and pricing strategies.
- You will ensure excellence in merchandising, Promotional & display strategies.
- You’ll provide valuable input into the direction and execution of NPD.
You will have:
- Proven experience working in a Category role within an FMCG business.
- A deep understanding of category management principles.
- Strong knowledge and a deep passion for FMCG and retail markets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- The ability to manage more junior members of the team.
