Job Overview

A leading premium food wholesaler is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and high-performing Sales Executive to work in a busy and vibrant telesales team in our offices in Central London.

The successful candidate will be a natural salesperson, highly motivated towards earning a bonus by exceeding a monthly sales target. You will enjoy the cut and thrust of a target-driven sales team in a fast-growing business and the challenge of selling quality food products to professional chefs who demand uncompromising levels of quality and service.

Knowledge and passion for seafood, fine food and working in or with professional chefs and kitchens are advantages but not essential. However, a desire and commitment to learn about the range of exceptional seafood is essential (training is provided).

You need to communicate well over the phone, work efficiently and accurately with accounts systems and direct order entry (processing invoices live as you speak to the customer over the phone). You need to be able to think on your feet, be responsible for your accounts and performance, organise your work effectively and execute your daily sales plan. You must be able to work and thrive in a pressured sales environment whilst maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude to your customers and everyone around you.
