Salary: £25,000 – £35,000
Location: Central London (Hyrbrid)
This is a new role working for an exciting FMCG business. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. You will be focused and have strong communication skills.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading direct sales activity to meet ambitious customer acquisition targets. Supported by a broad, multi-channel marketing strategy, you will use your experience to build a direct sales pipeline, generate leads and convert customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
- ·Actively pursuing opportunities to develop new opportunities and explore new channels and partnerships in line with overall business strategy.
Experience
- Experience leading commercial sales activity, developing and optimising a sales pipeline and associated processes
- Business development experience within FMCG or similar
- An independent and target-driven individual; able to prioritise and plan ahead with light-touch supervision and direction.
- The ability to think creatively, combined with the analytical capability to interpret and report key metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.
- Passion, interest or personal engagement with sustainability
