I am working with an independent Brewery who are looking for a Business Development Executive to support the growth of on-trade channel within London.

You’ll be the strategic point of contact for this channel, managing and developing on-trade customers. This role will mostly involve winning new business and managing accounts.

The role requires a commercial, energetic, and tenacious individual with a passion for craft beer. This role will report to the Founders and will also work closely with the broader, multi-functional team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Win new business within the on-trade channel in London with predominantly IFT and leased/tenanted channels
  • Championing and managing existing key customers and increasing the rate of sale
  • Assume responsibility/accountability for achieving programmed goals monthly
  • Cascade these goals and responsibilities to team
  • Brand education & training to suppliers, retailers and consumers
  • Identify new customer opportunities and competitor threats

This role will suit someone who:

  • Knows how to build long-lasting relationships with pubs, bars, and restaurants
  • Has a passion for beer!
  • Has worked in a brand ambassador, field sales or equivalent within on trade
  • Is happy to be field-based in London with occasional travel to the brewery
  • Has an in-depth understanding of the on-trade channel and can easily identify decision-makers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
