We’re working with a fast-growing challenger brand that’s reached an exciting inflection point. The business has built strong UK traction and now benefits from the backing of a much larger organisation providing capital, infrastructure, and strategic support to accelerate the next phase of growth.

They’re now hiring a Head of Sales to lead the UK commercial agenda while helping shape a longer-term international growth strategy.

This is a senior, hands-on role with real influence — suited to someone who enjoys building as much as managing.

The role:

  • Own and deliver the UK sales strategy across grocery, convenience and foodservice
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small but high-performing sales team
  • Manage senior relationships with buyers, wholesalers, and key partners
  • Drive range expansion, distribution gains, and profitable growth
  • Work closely with the wider group to leverage scale, insight, and capability
  • Contribute to international market planning and early-stage expansion

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has led sales for an SME or challenger FMCG brand
  • Brings strong relationships across UK grocery and convenience
  • Is commercially sharp, with experience owning forecasts and budgets
  • Enjoys operating with autonomy, pace, and accountability
  • Is excited by the opportunity to help shape international growth
  • Can work from a Northern Home Counties office on a hybrid basis
