Position: National Account Manager – Online Grocery

Location: West of London / M4 Corridor / 2-3 days per week in-office

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits

We’re working on behalf of a leading global consumer goods business to hire a National Account Manager – Online Grocery.

This is a high-impact role managing key online retail customers such as Tesco.com and Sainsbury’s Online, within one of the fastest-growing channels in the business.

The Role

You’ll take full ownership of commercial delivery across priority online grocery accounts, driving sales growth and executing winning digital plans. Working as part of a broader commercial team, you’ll lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans, manage P&L performance, and maximise brand visibility across retailer platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key online grocery accounts (Tesco.com, Sainsbury’s Online, etc.)
  • Deliver commercial objectives, sales targets, and profitability goals
  • Develop and implement Joint Business Plans to drive category and brand growth
  • Optimise brand performance through online visibility, content, and conversion
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, category, and supply teams to align online and offline activation
  • Stay ahead of online retail trends, ensuring best-in-class execution and capability building across the team

About You

  • Strong experience managing online grocery customers within an FMCG or consumer goods business
  • Proven commercial acumen with ownership of P&L and JBP delivery
  • Understanding of online retail media, trading levers, and conversion drivers
  • A confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Passionate about digital commerce and the evolving online retail landscape
