Contract: Full-time
Salary: £70,000–£80,000 + Benefits
Lime Talent is partnering with a high-growth branded food company as they continue their UK expansion. With major investment going into brand building and media activation, they’re hiring a Head of Media Planning to lead the development, optimisation and measurement of their paid media strategy. You’ll manage a small team and collaborate with best-in-class media and creative partners to deliver campaigns that drive brand growth.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Brand & Marketing, you’ll take full ownership of the media strategy across all paid channels. You’ll be responsible for planning, tracking and analysing performance, maximising return on investment, and ensuring media plays a central role in the brand’s long-term growth.
What you’ll do
- Build and execute an annual media strategy and channel plan, aligned to brand and commercial goals.
- Manage agency partnerships to deliver impactful, insight-led campaigns with strong ROI across a £5m+ budget.
- Lead media planning and buying across TV, digital, OOH and partnerships, optimising the channel mix.
- Oversee campaign measurement, reporting and post-campaign analysis; present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Work closely with brand and creative teams to ensure media and creative strategies are fully integrated.
- Lead, coach and develop two direct reports, building future capability in the team.
About you
- Proven track record in media planning and buying, ideally within FMCG or consumer brands.
- Deep knowledge of the media landscape, channel performance and cost dynamics.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience turning data into actionable insights.
- Skilled in managing agencies, budgets and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative and adaptable leader with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
