This company are looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to join a fast-growing, mission-led consumer brand in the health and wellbeing sector. The Role
As National Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of key UK retail accounts. Your mission is to drive revenue growth, build strong customer relationships, and execute the brand’s category strategy in-store. You will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of your accounts, delivering against joint business plans, and identifying opportunities to expand distribution and optimise category performance.
This role suits someone commercially savvy, hands-on, and ready to lead across both strategic and day-to-day operations. You will collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Category teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of key national retail accounts, delivering against revenue and margin targets.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned with both customer and business objectives.
- Manage listings, promotions, pricing, and forecasting across your account base.
- Analyse performance data to identify risks, growth drivers, and optimisation opportunities.
- Deliver compelling range reviews, customer presentations and promotional plans.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure outstanding execution and availability.
- Monitor and manage trade investment to maximise ROI.
About You
- Experience in a National Account Manager (NAM) or Junior NAM role within FMCG, health, beauty, wellness, or grocery categories.
- Strong customer relationship skills and a track record of delivering commercial growth.
- Experience managing major UK retail or grocery accounts (e.g., Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, etc.).
- Data-driven and analytical mindset, comfortable using sales and performance metrics.
- Proactive, collaborative, and highly organised with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
